1. Welder Fabricator
Responsibilities
- 3-5 years of experience in arc welding
- 3-5 years experience in steel fabrication works
Skills / Qualifications
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to work at height
- Previous experience in the welding/fabrication works in the façade testing field is highly preferred
2. Test Engineer (Acoustic - Building Systems)
Responsibilities
- Performing laboratory and site tests for façade systems by relevant international standards such as ASTM, AAMA, CWCT, BS EN, etc., understanding the project requirements
- Preparing the test method statements and reports, reviewing the project-specific ITPs and risk assessments
- Understand the project requirements and preparation of the test rig for installation as per the drawings
- Implementation of quality-related activities such as personnel training, equipment maintenance/calibration, face quality audits, and managing the laboratory accreditation programs such as UKAS, IAS, etc
- Assign tasks to laboratory personnel and define procedures to be followed, review test results & data, and provide technical guidance/ recommendations
- People skills to maintain relations and interactions with clients, and vendors
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with good working knowledge in aluminum curtain walls, unitized systems, window/door systems, sliding systems, louvers, and balustrades/handrails. skylights etc.
- Minimum 7 years experience in the Façade and Aluminum industry, especially in the testing industry with good knowledge of relevant testing standards and regulations, interpretation, and effective communication of test procedures, specifications, and results with team members, clients, consultants, specifiers, etc.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and leadership skills, along with computer and software skills required for the role
- People skills to maintain relations and interactions with clients, and vendors
- Have a valid UAE driving license and be ready to travel to sites when required
