About the role - Sales Manager or Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager to work closely with Senior Project Managers. As part of a small but fast-growing company you’ll be helping drive their business forward on an exciting and ambitious journey. As the New Business Manager you will tasked with developing new sales opportunities via both warm and cold outreach as well as growing key accounts.

This role requires telephone/office-based sales as well as site visits across the country and some international travel where appropriate. This role has an OTE of £70k but commissions above the base are uncapped.


About you

This role is for someone who truly wants a challenge of helping to grow an ambitious business. You should have direct experience of the sector, which includes selling everything from dry hire equipment to full event production. You should always strive to achieve more and be highly numbers focused. As a small team, you are a vital part of the success of the business.


· Experience selling event services or event solution sales ideally, or equipment.

· Working experience in New Business Development role with a proven track record in the Events and Exhibitions industry.

· A strong marketeer with a proven ability to create great marketing and turn it into great new clients.

· Ownership of budgets or targets, monitoring, reviewing and weekly reporting to Senior Management of actual results.

· Experience of utilizing technology, digital and social media tactics in Total Brand Activation.

· Technology industry interest and understanding is a plus.

· Excellent supplier knowledge and negotiating skills.
